So how is your pool doing?

While most of you probably have not given a second thought to your pool during this holiday season, perhaps it is time to take a glance into your backyard and check it out. Are your water bags all full of water, or have some of them broken? Is your cover pumped off? Are there any branches or sticks that have poked through your cover? These things can all affect the condition of your water when you open in the spring. Get those sticks and branches out of your cover, take a few moments to pump the cover off (providing it is not frozen), and come by the store to purchase replacement water bags! Finally, since the weather has been so warm, those of you with mesh covers should look under your cover and see how your water is doing. If it has already started to turn green, as some of our pools have, you'll need to add liquid chlorine and winter treat now. This will not replace the winter treat you will need to add in March, but rather supplement it. Remember that a few minutes now could save you hours of vacuuming when you open!

Getting a little Chilly?

Despite the Autumn-like winter we have had so far, there is a bit of a chill in the air of late. As temperatures continue to descend, you may be asking “How can I keep warm?” Gallagher Pools and Spas is pleased to keep away the winter chill with our complete line of hot tubs and saunas!
